The 2026 Microbiome Carnival: Taiwan’s First Microbiome Carnival
The 2026 Microbiome Carnival will be held on January 17–18, 2026 at Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 2, 7F, Taipei. This event focuses on "Microbiome and Health" and brings together an International Forum × Industry Exhibition × Public Science Activities × Innovation Competition. It is the first time in Taiwan that academia, industry, and the public join in one large event, chaired by Professor Ming-Shiang Wu, Dean of National Taiwan University College of Medicine.
Professor Jer-Horng Wu from our department has also been invited as a speaker for Session 5: “From Pollution Control to Resource Recovery: Dual-Track Application Strategies of Environmental and Marine Microorganisms.”

2026 Microbial Application Innovation Competition
To encourage young scholars and startup teams to showcase their creativity and explore the potential of microbial applications, we are pleased to launch the 2nd Microbial Application Innovation Competition. We warmly invite participants from all fields to join!

Eligibility: Open to all backgrounds—university students, researchers, startup teams, and cross-disciplinary teams are all welcome.
