The Department of Environmental Engineering at NCKU is the first environmental engineering faculty to be established in Taiwan, with leading education and research index in Asia. Faculty professors come from elite universities around the world, conducting both conventional and cutting-edge research, with access to the best education and research apparatus in Taiwan. With 14% of the graduates being international students, our department frequently uses English as a medium of instruction and has a high degree of internationalization. Over 3000 alumni are currently devoted in governments, industries, universities, and institutes in both Taiwan and abroad, as we have the most employable graduates for enterprises.
