An Innovative Capstone Project-based General Education Course

Capstone Project: Camp Design and Implementation with AI Support

The Center for General Education is launching an innovative Capstone Project-based General Education course!
This course integrates knowledge of AI, project management, and real-world educational outreach through collaboration with five high school STEM camps organized by NCKU.

  • Credits: 2 General Education Credits (Capstone PBL course)

  • Type: Interdisciplinary General Education

  • Quota: 25 students only

  • Classroom: Rm. 27103, 1F, Yun-Ping East Building, Kuang-Fu Campus

  • Course Period: Begins October 28, 2025 (Tuesday) and ends after the assigned camp session during the winter break


๐Ÿ”น Course Highlights

This capstone course introduces students to foundational knowledge of AI and large language models (LLMs), alongside project-based learning (PBL). Students will be guided by instructors to collaboratively plan and execute one of five STEM education camps for high school students.

Through this course, you will:

  • Learn project planning, AI tools, marketing, and risk management

  • Apply skills in a real-world context through winter break STEM camps

  • Gain experience in teamwork, communication, leadership, and AI-assisted problem solving

  • Build a portfolio-ready learning outcome for your future career development

• Brainstorming marketing strategies
• Promotional design (poster, social media, copywriting), proposal & pitch training
• Recruitment metrics (reach, engagement, conversion, cost-effectiveness)
