Physics department has opened Evening General Physics (I) and (II) courses, specially designed for international and overseas Chinese students who may not be familiar with Chinese.
Starting from the 2024 academic year, Physics department has opened Evening General Physics (I) and (II) courses, specially designed for international and overseas Chinese students who may not be familiar with Chinese. Since the courses are held in the evening, they are less likely to conflict with other required courses. The syllabus is the same as the regular Chinese-lectured General Physics (I) and (II), which are part of the university’s common core.

Welcome to enroll if you are:
1. An overseas Chinese student (may not be proficient in Chinese)
2. An international student (may not be proficient in Chinese)
3. Extended-study students or retaking students from any department who face scheduling conflicts or full enrollment in their home department’s General Physics course (with good English proficiency).
4. Or students who are interested in General Physics but whose home department does not offer the course (with good English proficiency)
We encourage students to consider taking this course, taught by a foreign faculty member of the Department of Physics. With evening classes that avoid scheduling conflicts, it offers a diverse and supportive learning option for international students, overseas Chinese students, and others with special circumstances.
